I have tried other products with no results. I got the information on Bowtrol from here and ordered.

I was feeling very bloated and constipated every time I ate. I had a lump in my gut that didn't want to move. It almost felt like if I didn't go to the bathroom soon the stuff inside would come back into my stomach.

I have been using this for 3 months now and have lost 15 lbs. I was not concerned about loosing weight as much as wanting relief. After a month of use I have changed my diet to include at least 50% fresh raw food (veg and fruit, can't stomach the idea of raw meat of any kind).

I researched the process of colon cleansing so I was aware of the symptoms to expect. As you clean out the colon of old fecal matter, the lining that allows nutrients to be absorbed into the body is cleared and will allow the toxins to get into the blood stream also and would make you feel sick until you get your colon cleaned out. I prepared for this by drinking more pure water, gentle extercise and getting more fresh veggies, fruits and raw nuts into my diet.

I also found on another web site the purpose of taking a 6 month colon cleanse versus a 7 day or 1 month cleanses. As you clean out your colon you need to give it time to heal and return to normal size and function.

After being on it for 1 month I got my husband to try it and he is doing very well. He is 53 years old and had the stregnth of a 75 year old. We have a family room and computer room in the basement and for the last year he stopped going down there because he could walk back up the stairs. He is now able to walk back up the stairs and is getting stronger every day.

All I know is it works and I am so glad I found this product.

I started taking Bowtrol about two weeks ago. I started with the recommended dose of 3 before bedtime. Nothing much happened so I upped it to 5 pills before bedtime. I had some movement but not much. However I was still excited as I have had a problem with going period. The next night I decided to go for 7 pills before bedtime and followed it with a cup of hot herbal tea. That morning after my workout, it was ON!!! I felt such a relief and could not believe that much was packed into my colon! The following days after that were and still are pretty much the same. I have so much energy and I am sleeping like a baby! My skin is clearing up also. I am much more conscious of what I eat now. I've started juicing and absolutely NO JUNK FOOD!! Drink plenty of water or you will have some pretty bad gas pains. YAAYYY TO BOWTROL!!!!!

I have always struggled with bowel movement issues since I was young. I even went to the emergency room one time because of severe pains and after x-rays, sonograms, and fingers placed in the worse possible place the doctor's diagnosis was that I was full of it. So, I was at my grandfather's house one day and I saw him drinking this stuff and he told me how good it was so he gave me a brand new bottle of it. I take it everyday and its just great. No cramping like a laxative. I recomend this to anyone who is not regular....

When I started the Bowtrol my weight loss more than doubled. It has slightly tapered off over time, but it's obviously had a dramatic effect and I have lost about 25 pounds surprisngly quickly.

There are a lot of theories and assumptions made about the effectiveness of colon cleansing. I am not a medical authority so it is impossible for me to comment as to this product's capability to acheive the intended medical benefits over time. I will say that I have been using this product for over six months and have found that it does everything it advertises. If you take the product as directed, your digestive system will become regular, and you will be a lot more sensitive to the few occassions later you experience constipation. I use to get frequently constipated, however, since using this product, I have been constipated in the six month period less than four occassions. It is important for the user to be consistent in taking the product in regular intervals and also do not resist the urge to respond to your body's need to naturally cleanse itself at the time. Very effective, I plan to not stop using or substitute to the other multitude of products available. I"m not saying the others are not effective, because I have never tried, however, I know this works, so why go to another?

I have always suffered from bouts of constipation throughout my life. I felt bloated much of the time, and my BMs were sludgy. When I first started taking Bowtrol, I was skeptical... but this product seems to work well for me.

My initial dose was 4 capsules. I figured I could always take more if needed, but 4 was the magic starter number. My BMs were softer and no longer strained. 2 capsules right before bedtime takes care of me the next day.

When I follow my regular regimen of 2 capsules per day, I feel great. I feel more energetic and I feel like I've purged myself without extraordinary discomfort. It works differently from laxatives, and I feel better when I stay regular using this product. (Laxatives leave me feel tired and strained.)

Originally I asked "What the heck did I just do???" when I bought the 6-month supply, but I have not regretted the purchase. FOR ME, the product is great. I know it may not work the same way for anybody else. It does what it is supposed to do, I feel clean and serene.
